Singles Ministry
Singles are invited to the following Summer Activities Fellowship Opportunities Oklahoma on June 14, 2008. An evening of fun and fellowship at Theatre in the Park. The plan is to meet at the Box Office at 7:00 pm. The musical starts at 8:30 pm. Seats are on a first come first served basis. The Theatre is located at the Tomahawk Recreation Complex, 17501 Midland Drive, Shawnee, Kansas. Steam Boat Arabia on July 26, 2008. Unbelievable treasures and fascinating history await. Carpool leaves Bethany, Overland Park at 3:00 pm. If you choose, you may meet the group at the museum located at 400 Grand Blvd., Kansas City, MO at 3:45 pm. The last tour begins promptly at 4:00 pm. Dinner afterwards as determined by the group in attendance. Sunday Lunch on July 27, 2008. Lunch at Jose Peppers Mexican Restaurant. Jose Peppers offers fresh authentic Mexican food. Meet at the Guest Information Table after the 11:00 am service or just proceed to Jose Peppers located at 10316 Metcalf Ave. in Overland Park. Potluck Dinner on August 9, 2008. An evening of fun and fellowship at the home of Darrel Tyree. Bring a dish to share and mingle with some fellow Bethany Singles. Darrel’s place is located at 9421 Riggs Street in Overland Park. Dinner begins at 6:30 pm. If you have any questions, please contact Darrel at 913-649-6538. Sunday Lunch on August 17, 2008. Lunch at Fuddruckers. You don’t want to pass on this one. This place has consistently the best burgers you’ll ever have. Great buns and condiment bar as well. Also, if you have room they can crank out some great malts. Meet at the Guest Information Table after the 11:00 am service or just proceed to Fuddruckers located at 8725 Metcalf Ave. in Overland Park. Sunday Lunch on September 7, 2008. Lunch at Chipolte. If you like burritos, Chipolte is for you. Chipolte offers gourmet burritos and tacos made to order. Meet at the Guest Information Table after the 11:00 am service or just proceed to Chipolte located at 6879 W. 91st St. in Overland Park. Sunday Lunch on September 21, 2008. Lunch at Jason’s Deli. Jason’s has some of the best deli sandwiches around. They have an excellent salad bar as well. Either way, you can’t go wrong with Jason’s. Meet at the Guest Information Table after the 11:00 am service or just proceed to Jason’s located at 8931 South Metcalf in Overland Park. Next Planning Meeting Thursday, September 18, 2008 at 7:00 PM in Room 201. Your attendance is much appreciated and your time will not be wasted. Planning sessions typically last 45 minutes. Bible Study Opportunities Bible Study Join our brothers and sisters in Christ at Christ Lutheran for their Bible Study. Study meets on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm in Room 201.
