February Mission of the Month—The Apple of His Eye Mission Society is a Recognized Service Organization (RSO) of the LCMS. Their mission is to boldly declare Y'shua as Messiah to Jews and gentiles, and urgently equip the church to do the same! They offer tools and training to help Christians in their personal witness so that those of the 13 million Jewish people who do not know Jesus might respond in faith. February Care Drive—During the month of February we will be collecting hygiene items for KC area men, women, and children receiving help from City Union Mission (CUM). A few much needed items are: toilet paper (they use more than 6,000 rolls per month!!), underwear in all styles and sizes, shampoo/conditioner, soap, lotion, deodorant, toothpaste/brushes, alcohol free mouth wash and disposable razors. Trial size is best, but all sizes will be appreciated. Most clients arrive with nothing and are given bags with the basic necessities. Your donations will help defray the cost of these basics. Please place your donations in the care drive barrel at the south entrance of the Overland Park Campus and in the box provided at the Stilwell Campus.
